Method
Six modules, a role case for each level of the business, and four working records that connect a conversation with action.
Timeline
About 200 minutes in total: six 25-minute modules, one 30-minute role case and a 20-minute final review.
Deliverable
A facilitated workshop for your team, in English or Spanish.
Measure
Owned actions with a review date, checked in a follow-through review.

  • Handoffs between shifts, teams or locations keep breaking down.
  • Standards differ from one manager to the next.

The conversation behind this program

During a large multi-location operational turnaround, Patrick met directly with field leaders to understand what was preventing execution at the store level. In one discussion he challenged a manager on performance while asking what obstacles the organization itself had created. That changed the tone, and it surfaced unclear priorities, inconsistent coaching and processes that made execution difficult.

The lesson: productive performance conversations combine clarity, accountability and curiosity. Diagnose before prescribing. Address the business issue without attacking the individual. Leave each conversation with measurable commitments.

This account was supplied by Patrick Gibson. It is a leadership reflection, not evidence that the program has produced a measured turnaround or financial result.
