FOCUSED ENGAGEMENT · FIXED FEE

Inventory Planning

“The frame board is full of what did not sell and out of what patients ask for.”

This is one of eleven single-problem engagements. One problem, one deliverable, one number we watch. Priced reasonably for your practice and agreed with you in writing before we start. How fees are set →

The problem
Frame boards fill with what did not sell while the lines patients ask for run out.
You get
A board plan by price point and brand, open-to-buy limits and a reorder routine.
We measure
Frame turns and sell-through.

What I look at first

I was one of the leaders who helped franchise optometrists take part in the Luxottica frame program — more than 300 practices enrolled, about $25M in revenue — and the lesson was the same everywhere: the board sells when it is built from what sold, by price point, not from what the rep brought in. I rebuild your board plan from your own sales data and set an open-to-buy limit the manager can run.

What a fix is worth. Moving frame turns from 1.5 to 2.5 on a $60,000 board frees roughly $24,000 of cash and puts the lines patients ask for back in stock.Illustration only, using 300 exams a month and a $280 average eyewear sale. Run your own numbers in the Capture Rate Calculator or Value Calculator.

How the engagement runs

Week 1: a 20-minute call, then your reports. Weeks 2–3: I work the problem with you and your team, remote by phone or video, or on site. Week 4: the deliverable above, in writing, with the number we watch and who owns it. Then you run it, with monthly advisory if you want me beside you.

Other problems owners bring me

Patrick has a strong record of results and building high performance teams. I would characterize Patrick’s leadership mentality with the mantra, “If better is possible, good is not enough.”
