FOCUSED ENGAGEMENT · FIXED FEE

Managed Vision Care Retention

“EyeMed and VSP patients walk out and use their benefits at a chain.”

This is one of eleven single-problem engagements. One problem, one deliverable, one number we watch. Priced reasonably for your practice and agreed with you in writing before we start. How fees are set →

The problem
Insured patients take the prescription to a chain.
You get
An in-network conversation your team can say, and a benefit-use routine.
We measure
Managed vision care capture and second-pair rate.

What I look at first

The in-network conversation happens in the ten seconds after the exam. Most teams say “your plan covers an exam and a pair.” The teams that keep insured patients say what the benefit buys in this practice today, in dollars, before the patient has a reason to look elsewhere. I build that sentence with your opticians from your top two plans, then we measure managed-care capture weekly.

What a fix is worth. If 40% of your exam patients are on a vision plan and you keep ten more of every hundred of them, that is roughly $40,000 a year at 300 exams a month and a $280 average sale.Illustration only, using 300 exams a month and a $280 average eyewear sale. Run your own numbers in the Capture Rate Calculator or Value Calculator.

How the engagement runs

Week 1: a 20-minute call, then your reports. Weeks 2–3: I work the problem with you and your team, remote by phone or video, or on site. Week 4: the deliverable above, in writing, with the number we watch and who owns it. Then you run it, with monthly advisory if you want me beside you.
